The Wedding Afterparty has gradually become a part of the wedding that most guests look forward to...mostly the younger folks but you'd occasionally see some hipster mummies and daddies rocking the dancefloor also, so how do you make sure your guests have the best time while they gbe body🤷🏾♀...Kehinde Siyanbade of Afterparty Props gives us a few tips;
You know the saying— "after the parte comes the after-parte" and this has been holding true for more and more Nigerian weddings recently. Couples are by no means obligated to host their guests for a wedding after-party but, think about it—who wouldn't want to prolong one of the biggest days of their lives, surrounded by friends and family!? The after party is the real deal, You see guests waltzing to weddings at 6pm, just in time for the parte…I recall inviting my friend for a colleague’s wedding, the 1st question she asked me was “Hope there's gonna be an after party o?…meaning this is what most of your friends look forward to these days.
That time; typically around 6 when the DJ struggles to keep the live band silent by the intermittent sounds kicking in…& when we beg the parents to go home. The main advice I like to give to couples is- this is that point where you get to party with your friends, so make it worth the while.
Tips for an amazing & budget-friendly after party: ▪️Plan ahead, don’t wait till the last minute. ▪️Serve 3 rounds of shots before bottles….I know this sounds funny but this way you save more on booze. We all know booze ain’t cheap.
▪️Light up the party with props…You can never go wrong with glow items to light up the vibe.
▪️Feed your friends – again o! They need energy to get TURNT.
▪️Your photographer must be on standby & ensure he captures those Turnt moments.
